Sunny Mind Productions was founded in 2011 by Elliot Higger to tangibly address social issues stemming from misrepresentation, especially the prejudice of people and ideas. We closely collaborate with clients and teach media literacy workshops — Sunny Mind is a media production company that emphasizes self representation.
SMP films are produced strategically, specific to each project, audience, and goals. We hire professional crews and/ or train community crews to work on projects.
Media representation shapes societies and cultures, and as such, Sunny Mind's media practices pursue alignment with a set of core values:
